3-day Online Workshop

July 12, 19, & 26, 2025

This workshop is all about experimenting with watercolor techniques, and what happens when they mix with gouache, pastel, and ink. How do different media affect each other? How can a color palette be transformed into textures or backgrounds for calligraphic work? We will explore expressive botanical work, as well as background and figure textures in landscape and collaged papers. Compositions will be assembled for letters to be added later. Our work will result in a textured and stitched piece along with a creative book-like piece.
