About Gabriela Soba:
Graphic Designer graduated from FADU (University of Buenos Aires) specializing in calligraphy.
She has worked as a designer, specializing in packaging and image in several graphic studios, in Buenos Aires and then in Barcelona.
In 2012 she became the founder of the Typo studio in Barcelona and began her freelance work.
Commissioned work is carried out in visual communication, packaging, interior design,
or work in publishing houses on books, illustrations and logo redesign.
Custom work in the area of calligraphy includes calligraphy and custom binding, in products such as albums, boxes, artist books, prints, and workshops.
Gabriela exhibited her works at Arts Libris (Artist’s Book Fair) in Barcelona in 2012 and 2014.
She began giving workshops in Barcelona in 2014 at the City Hall, exhibiting various works and book bindings there. In-person and online workshops began in 2020. Her various workshops focus on exploration of calligraphic textures, creation of alphabets, or letters drawn for particular projects.
