It seems like such a simple thing. Paper. It’s everywhere – little square sticky things, blue ruled sheets with dashed lines in the middle, printer paper, bags, stationery, books, gift wrap. Each paper made for its designed purpose, with its own distinct qualities.
I love paper – its history, its tactile features, the myriad of colors, the effect of light through it. However, as a beginning artist, it can be overwhelming. How does one choose?
