What if your letters could sparkle like little gems?
Join us for a playful two-day workshop exploring unusual, drawn, and painted letterforms—and discover how a simple letter can become a tiny work of art.
Working in a 3″ × 3″ format, we’ll experiment with color, texture, pattern, and shape while creating beautiful, one-of-a-kind holiday cards along the way.
In this workshop, you’ll explore:
- Gouache and watercolor
- Metallic watercolors and dry pigments
- Paint pens
- Gesso and masking-fluid resist
- White and black papers
- Color, texture, pattern, and shape
- Creative approaches to drawn and painted letterforms
The small format gives you the freedom to experiment, play, and try something unexpected. You’ll discover how changing the shape, surface, color, and texture of a letter can transform it into something completely unique.
Whether you love lettering, calligraphy, painting, or simply making beautiful things by hand, this workshop invites you to play with letters and let your creativity sparkle.
